I know I’m just a guy with a website, and not a think-tank wonk or a legal scholar or a pundit. I’m just someone who grew up with Schoolhouse Rock and these cool books about the Revolutionary War and who took American History and Government and had teachers who taught. I’m probably not as qualified to comment as the people on the tube or the radio, but…

Congress makes the laws…
The President executes the laws…
And the Supreme Court interprets the laws…

So, that means if, say, someone sues the government over a law that, say, keeps them from getting married when there’s no rational reason they shouldn’t, and a court says, “Hey, you’re right! That’s unconstitutional!” and strikes that law down, then we should all dance in the streets and rejoice because, hey, the system worked, liberty for all, and freedom’s on the march. That court did its friggin’ job.

Which means, take your talk of activist judges and shove it up your ass.
